“There is no such thing as death. In nature, nothing dies; From each sad moment of decay, some forms of life arise.” ~ Charles Mackay.
“Everything is contained sounds – the past, the present and the future. The person who does not know how to listen will never hear the advice that life offers us all the time. And only the person who listens to the sounds of the moment is able to make the right decisions.” ~ Paulo Coelho.
“Don’t fight a fact, deal with it. Don’t discard your self, be more of it.” ~ Hugh Prather.
“Everything in the universe has a purpose. Indeed, the invisible intelligence that flows through everything in a purposeful fashion is also flowing through you.” ~ Dr. Wayne Dyer.
Amen to all those great thinkers…I particularly liked that part of Paul Coelho’s that said the person who listens to the sounds of the moment is able to make the right decisions! So true, so true. It really is just a poetic way of saying stay aware of what is going on around you for if you don’t you cannot be prepared. Have a great weekend….Blessings…VK
Beautiful pictures, Michael…thanks for sharing…I think we all live life like a time-machine…re-hashing the past, worrying about the future…may just be the pandemic of the ages
Great quotes, Michael…
I especially love – Don’t fight a fact; deal with it..!
So many times we can ‘hide’ from facts (truths). Dealing with a fact (a truth) certainly does set us free…!
Hi Carolyn, I share the same sentiments with your goodself. It takes a lot of courage to deal with facts. It’s not easy but necessary if we stand for something. Have a great week and see you in your next posting.
“There is no such thing as death.
In nature, nothing dies;
From each sad moment of decay,
some forms of life arise.”
Very true,even Rumi once said,
9557 On the day of (my) death when my coffin is going (by), don’t
imagine that I have (any) pain (about leaving) this world.
Don’t weep for me, and don’t say, “How terrible! What a pity!”
(For) you will fall into the error2 of (being deceived by) the Devil,
(and) that would (really) be a pity!
When you see my funeral, don’t say, “Parting and separation!”
(Since) for me, that is the time for union and meeting (God).
9560 (And when) you entrust me to the grave, don’t say,
“Good-bye! Farewell!” For the grave is (only) a curtain for
(hiding) the gathering (of souls) in Paradise.
