About Me

I am Michael.

A dreamer but one who dares to work and live his dreams. Not the very tech-savvy kind but I am learning something new almost every day.

As for my career, I had served in capacities ranging from sales to marketing, training and coaching, senior management to general management. I had even served as a Sales & Marketing Manager in the International Sales Division of a power electronics organisation based in The Netherlands.

From hindsight, the experience I gained working with people of different cultures had been truly amazing, pleasurable and privileged. I love music particularly contemporary jazz and enjoys eating; be it Western, Chinese, Japanese or Other dishes.

Through “Have A Dream,” I wish to relate with you my hard knocks in life. However, please note, I am neither sharing my insights and my past experience to extract sympathy or mentioning my accomplishments for the purpose of feeding my ego. I firmly believe at the end of the day; only you can make the changes that lead to fulfillment. You see, the drive has to come from within you.

Two other things that I cannot live without each day, are a glass of fresh, chilled lemon juice and my favorite Chinese ‘pu-erh’ (Camellia sinensis) tea.

Lastly, it’s great to have you visiting this blog, “Have A Dream,” If we have related during your brief stop at “Have A Dream,” I would certainly say; “Yes.” We have through my posts related. And may have possibly met earlier at my earlier blog, “Straight Talking.com” – which at this point in time I have taken private.

I am looking forward to welcoming you back to “Have A Dream” in the the not too distant future and once again, “Thank You” for your valued visit.

Michael.

  1. True, authentic optimism is so very hard to come by and even harder to teach or pass on. Thank you for writing with the kind of conviction that in fact teaches and passes on how to think and feel positive and optimistic about life. I enjoy the comments that you leave on my blog. They’re like unexpected gifts. All the best!

  2. Hi Michael. I am so very glad you stumbled on to my blog (besilentbestill) and took a moment to like it. Thank you. Being a hospice chaplain is one of the greatest blessings of my life. I started that blog as a way of sharing some of what I learn through my vocation.

I am very happy to find this blog, and will be looking forward to reading more. Your spirit and compassionate insights are a gift. Many blessings to you.

    Peace,

  5. Hi Michael, appreciate your ‘like’ on my recent post re the good news. I can relate fully with your concept that many people have far more potential to live abundant lives than most of us do. We waste so much time being ‘entertained’ that we leave so little time for giving.
    Regards, Brendan.
