The Power Of Perception.

Reality is merely an illusion, albeit a very persistent one.

Regardless of whether we are aware, we create our world around us by our thoughts and beliefs. Our perception of events and of ourselves determine how we are going to experience life. For instance, if we believe that life is gloomy, then we will perceive gloom in events and by that perception, we have drawn gloom into our lives and gloom is what we then experience. In other words, our eyes see what our mind is prepared to comprehend.

There is no reality – only perception.

……………………………………………………..

Don’t believe what your eyes are
telling you.
All they show is limitation.
Look with your understanding,
find out what you already know,
and you’ll see the way to fly.

……………………………………………………

“Like attracts like.
Whatever the conscious mind thinks and believes
the subconscious identically creates.”

……………………………………………………..

At every point in time,
there are infinite possibilities
and a parallel reality exists for each possibility,
so there are literally infinite branches ……

………………………………………………………………….

Reality is what we take to be true.
What we take to be true is what we believe.
What we believe is based upon our perceptions.
What we perceive depends upon what we look for.
What we look for depends upon what we think.
What we think depends upon what we perceive.
What we perceive determines what we believe.
What we believe determines what we take to be true.
What we take to be true is our reality.

The fact is no two people see things in exactly the same way.  To every separate person a thing is what he thinks it is – not a thing, but a think. And most of the time, we don’t see things as they are. But we see them as we are ………………….

As I conclude this post, “The Power Of Perception;” the way we view things  is really a reflection of our self-beliefs, and not necessarily ‘how it really is.’ The maxim; “A hostile person lives in a hostile world. A loving person lives in a loving world” will certainly convey my point best. Perhaps, you should try to look at a situation from a different angle, or from another point of view as that could probably change your experience of life and its myriad of events.
