Our thoughts are important to us in many ways. For our thoughts, whether positive or negative, can cause our expectations to come true and consequently affecting how we see and act. And last but by no means least, our thoughts greatly influence our emotions and personal problems as well.
You see, negative thoughts are counterproductive and are common in bad moods, and when one is depressed. Whilst positive thoughts go with feeling good and happy. It helps you to feel better, see things in a better light, act more sensibly and effectively.
When was the last time a problem frustrate you? Did you do something constructive about it? Or did you accept it? ……………………….. think of your thinking. Changing your thinking habits can make many things less disagreeable.
You and I
are not what we eat
we are what we think.
The trouble with most people is that
they think with their hopes or fears or wishes
rather than with their minds.
Too often we ……..
enjoy the comfort of opinion
without the discomfort of thought.
Believing is easier than thinking.
Hence, so many believers than thinkers.
The world we have created is the product of our thinking;
it cannot be changed without changing out thinking.
You cannot plough a field by
turning it over in your mind.
There is nothing either good or bad,
but thinking makes it so.
I had the blues because I had no shoes
until upon the street,
I met a man with no feet.
Attitudes are contagious.
Is yours worth catching?
The positive thinker sees the impossible,
feels the intangibles and achieves the impossible.
Be mindful, your thinking can either make you live in heaven or hell. Our thinking, emotions and behaviors intertwine very closely. Each can change the other, impacting our daily lives dearly and even color our worlds – without us realizing it.
Think of your thinking. Is it about time that you consider clearing those mental cobwebs in your mind?
As I conclude my post for the day, a wonderful post I read yesterday; “Life Is Messy – But You’ve Gotta Like The Challenge” at “Life’s A Stage” got me to put on my thinking cap and think deeply, very deeply for some time. I love the way it was written and I reckon, “Optimism improves our lives. Motivates us never to give up. Turning our setbacks and failures into comebacks and success.”
Happy Living !!!
