Have A Dream

A Food For Thought Over This Weekend.

Don’t just go through the motions in life. Have some enthusiasm. !!!

Are you ready to pay the price to do the right thing?

For some people, mediocrity is the norm. They want to do as little as they possibly can and still get by. Yet, they are so eager to believe they deserve to have everything and to have it all right now.

Please do not misunderstand me. I know that God is able to give us in abundance whatever He chooses. But I also know wherever you are in life, you have the ability and capacity to make the most of it and be the best you can possibly be.

You see, being financially sound, having possessions, properties and the ability to do many of the things we desire is never wrong in itself. However, it is when “things” begin to control us, we have a problem. At the same time, we can also opt to be content with exactly what we have.

I reckon self-control is evidence of the Holy Spirit at work in us. It does not mean we cannot have nice things, say buying a designer’s shoes, jeans, shirts and so forth. It simply means that we can stop worrying about what the world wants us to have  and instead focus on what God want us to have.

Are you ready to pay the price to do the right thing?

Can you imagine what will happen every time we compromise, every time we are a little less than honest with ourselves and what will happen to us if we allow ourselves to continue compromising?

Are you ready to strive to do everything you can with your whole heart, passion and some fire in it?

Are you ready to strive for excellence in whatever you do and stay passionate about seeing our dreams come true?

Here’s a food for thought over the weekend ……………….. God has always called us to be people of excellence and integrity. If we do not have integrity we may never reach our highest potential because “integrity” is the foundation on which a truly successful life is built. People with integrity are always the same whether in private or public; always open, honest and true to his words and no hidden agendas or ulterior motives. And when you have an excellent spirit, it always shows up in the attitude.

So are you ready to pay the price to do the right thing?

Great post, Michael. What you’ve said is so important. So many people fail to take any responsibility for their lives choosing to settle for far less than what God desires them to have simply because they’re not willing to walk in obedience, but would rather lay on the couch and let their lives pass them by.
