Consider This ……….

“The greatest failure is not to try. Had I listened to all the people during the course of my life who said; “You can’t. You’ll fail. It won’t work. You don’t have …….” I won’t be here today. ~ Debbie Fields. ***** Founder of Mrs. Fields Cookies.*****

This is so true! People don’t even want to try at times it seems… Good post and great subject! Thanks for sharing such a positive thought and a smile!

Nice blog Michael, it is so encouraging. 🙂 I agree, The Greatest Failure is Not to Try!

  4. We have to cultivate that “I Won’t give up” attitude. Indeed it is a hard thing to do, but yet it is achievable. Great quote Michael.

  5. This is a good quote. I didn’t have anyone on the outside telling me these things, growing up. Quite the reverse. So my worst adversary was myself – my inner lack of confidence. It has been my nemesis most of my life. And so, as Meg Ryan says to Tom Hanks in Joe vs. the Volcano (more or less, but this is the gist::) – “You know Joe, with you, it’s always gonna be SOMETHING!”
Thanks for being so supportive of my blog posts. I truly appreciate it.

Michael, great post. I always look forward to seeing your next post.

  7. I have to agree with belasbrightideas, those words usually come from within. We are indeed our own worse enemy. Nice post as always, Michael.

  8. When I was 18, I wanted to buy some property. One of my relatives told me that I should not buy the property because it would be difficult to resell. Well, the property was in the 80s back then and now it was selling for 220s. With the proper motivation and guidance, things would have been different. I guess we live and learn, right? But, thank God, all things work out anyway – in His time. And no more listening to the nay-sayers!
