There’s Light At The End Of The Tunnel.

According to some online dictionaries, “Fabulous” (from an old French word “fabuleux”) is defined as extremely pleasing, successful, marvelous, wonderful and last but not least, almost impossible to believe or incredible. Seriously, if I could, I would love to feel vibrant, happy and peaceful all the time. Unfortunately, stuffs bothers us – big stuffs and small stuffs. And, stuff always have a way of tripping us and at times send us reeling uncontrollably.

It will then take us several bounce-ups before we feel a little better or happier. Besides, there are occasions when we felt like we were on cloud nine. Feeling confident, excited and active then feeling like down in the dumps another moment.

I reckon no one wants to feel frustrated, depressed or feeling gloomy. But, when stuffs like relationship, finance, career or even our body is not working out as planned, our emotions follow. So circumstances produce the seeds of joy, sorrow, triumph and pain, right?

You see, where we went wrong wasn’t because we let our circumstances influence our emotional well-being. But allowing them to determine our emotional well-being. Don’t you think we have lots of emotions to choose from? Unfortunately, we often look for happiness, peace and joy in the wrong places.

Wait …….. Why am I writing this?

Can we experience happiness, vibrancy, and peace of mind every day of our lives?

Or, aren’t we already living a reasonably fabulous life, right now?

Perhaps it is discovering more and strengthening our inner core. Just as the inner ear enables us to stay balanced whether we are sitting, bending over, standing and so forth. Be mindful, elephants don’t bite, mosquitoes do. There’s light at the end of the tunnel. Β A strong inner core will keep us stable and moving forward when stuffs – big and small, threaten to send us spiraling.

Have a fabulous August !!!

  1. I agree that there is light at the end of the tunnel. What has helped me so much is that I never see a “problem” – it is always a “challenge”. Also, sometimes when my emotions are out of control, I THINK and switch to my intellect to find a resolve. It is a choice. Have a wonderful day Michael. I always enjoy your posts!

    • What a great way to look at things. There are no ‘problems’ just ‘challenges’. I think its imperative to always see the silver lining in life otherwise we’d go nuts!

      • Michael says:

Wow …….. That was a beautiful insight. “Challenges” not only will spur us to greater heights but refining us as a better human as well.

  2. Marty says:

Expectations and desires are judgments how life or a situation should treat us.

We receive little or no satisfaction but loss and suffering are much more likely.

Fortune telling is hazardous to our mental well being.

Reminds me of that song they play on KLove! Even during our darkest moments, when we see no other way out, there is always the light at the end of the darkness, and that light is Jesus Christ who never leaves us nor forsakes us.

We have a fabulous life every day. We are what we think. Think fabulous. We are what we see. See fabulous. Ignore everthing else. What’s the saying?… if you don’t mind it don’t matter πŸ™‚

Often the light appears quite unexpectedly in the dark. It’s remarkable.

i believe optimism plays a big part in this. Some of us have been so down to the ground so many times we have lost that but yes it would be nice to feel great every day of our lives. i know i wish that all the time. the overflow of love, contentment and joy!
