My Twitter account have been hacked and hit by SPAM.
Like Sherline’s Whatchu Thinkin Blog, I had received no less than 168 direct messages since yesterday evening, from my followers informing me that a user saying horrible things about me and a link was provided.
Upon reaching the link, I was told it was a phishing site and the link terminated. As a precaution, I changed my password but the problem could still persist. Furthermore, my tweet, “I lost 20 lbs with acai berry …….” (it is on your right) is definitely not from me. I tweet mainly quotes.
Meanwhile, kindly ignore any tweet or direct messages from me because I suspect my account may have been compromised.
Thank You and Best Regards !!!
I received a notification from Twitter after publishing this post – informing me that they have reset my account and advised me to change my password again. Thanks for responding Twitter and for the concern shown by all of you.

We are almost at the end of the current year. In hindsight, 2011 have been a reasonably remarkable year for yours truly. Though in between there were some challenging times which feels like speed bumps in life and at times feels like mountains. However, with the Grace of God, I am glad it passed. As for the coming New Year, what I wish to see happening are …………………
With the often predicted bleak global economic outlook in 2012, I wish there is no need for any unnecessary politicking. Instead, politicians at both sides of the divide should spend their time serving and working for the people. They should be seen implementing and monitoring sound, broad based policies that can benefit the people. And effectively paving a level playing field for all stakeholders – regardless of his or her color and religious beliefs. This will empower the people to commit and work towards greater progress, solidarity, better quality of life and so forth.
I wish to see the global market moving forward and growing at a reasonably realistic pace rather than having to slow down or worst fall into a global recession. Perhaps, we should temporarily shelve some of our existing policies, initiatives and efforts that are causing the global economy to slide down further. And at the same time, stop draining our resources and energies unnecessarily. Instead, we should concentrate our efforts and initiatives or policies that are showing results and that works well under such prevailing global uncertainties.
I wish there can be a new paradigm shift emerging in 2012. Whereby each and every one of us are genuinely ready to move forward hand in hand, as the people of the world, without any hidden agenda, regardless of our faith and skin color. We have a duty to put our world right again for our younger generations to live. And not let them feel threatened or bullied in any way by some insensitive and arrogant people. Especially those who contribute by issuing threats and pouring cold water on the dreams of some genuine leaders in our time.
Realistically, I think if there is anything that we can truly look forward in 2012 is; new technologies will continue changing the way we live life. And most probably we will get to see Steve Job’s Apple TV in the coming months as well.
Robert, an ex-colleague cum very close friend called yesterday. It wasn’t really a surprise for me because he used to call once in a while to make sure I am okay. As usual, we had a long conversation – in between Robert updated me with the latest information about some of our dear friends. He spoke about his plans for 2012.
And reminded me a story I shared with him years ago. It was about three young men who entered the same university after their studies. Tony wanted to follow his father’s footstep. Thus, he studied Accountancy. Gilbert did IT and Duncan studied Business Management to fulfill his Daddy’s wish. Upon graduation, the three of them went separate ways to pursue their careers.
One evening they decide to gather for a few drinks. At that get-together, Tony kept telling the two how important he was as Financial Controller in his Company. Gilbert disputed and said with all the information he have as Chief Information Officer, he is the most important among the two. He believe he chart and drives his Company’s future. Duncan, a Director of Sales in an established organisation, instead claimed he was the most important because he was accountable for generating revenue for the organisation and that was exactly what every business cannot do without.
The argument grew more intense and occupied their entire evening. When they finally decide to call it a night, the three of them were still arguing on their way out. Then, they saw God and decide to approach and ask Him, who is the most important of the three?
Each of them took their turn to argue eloquently their claim for holding the most important position in their respective organisations. God listened carefully and when they were done, God said;
“Look, I can’t settle your dispute. I’m sorry.”
Duncan was disappointed while the two were stunned by the response. After a while, Duncan answered,
“What do you mean you can’t settle it? You’re God.”
“That’s the problem,” God answered.
“I don’t see a Financial Controller, a Chief Information Officer or a Director of Sales. All I see are three human beings.”
In hindsight, there used to be a time when the well-educated person could know all that was academically known. Today is a very different world. We read many things today. Perhaps, too much non-essential stuff. While there are some, who do not spend enough time reading because television and the visual age of images have taken over their full attention. If I may ask, are we not drown in a sea of often useless information, ……………………………… and are no wiser for it?
Where is the Life we have lost in living?
Where is the wisdom we have lost in knowledge?
Where is the knowledge we have lost in information?
~ TS Elliot.
“Hire and promote first on the basis of Integrity; Second, Motivation; Third, Capacity; Fourth, Understanding; Fifth, Knowledge; And last but not least, Experience. Without Integrity, Motivation is dangerous; Without Motivation, Capacity is Impotent.Without Capacity, Understanding is limited; Without Understanding, Knowledge is meaningless; Without Knowledge, Experience is blind. Experience is easy to provide and quickly put to good use by people with all the other qualities.”

“The world rarely sees someone who has the profound effect Steve has had, the effects of which will be felt by many generations to come.”
— Bill Gates.
I got the message of the passing of Steve Jobs a few hours ago. I am surprised of his untimely departure. I reckon in our minds today, the launch of the next version of the iPhone is not as important than mourning Steve’s death.
Some say; “Steve Jobs is the Thomas Edison of the 20th century.” He is. He have very brilliantly redefined our lifestyle with his wonderful innovations. In addition, I love and is inspired by the three stories Steve Jobs shared at the Stanford University commencement some years ago.
He was a remarkable man, had touched the lives of many and he is many things to many people. And last but not least, Steve Jobs demystified the world of IT in a way that was fun. Steve, here’s your favorite, “Positively 4th Street” …………….
You got a lot of nerve to say you are my friend
When I was down, you just stood there grinning
You got a lotta nerve to say you gotta a helping hand to lend
You just want to be on the side that’s winning
You say I let you down, You know it’s not like that
If you’re so hurt, why then don’t you show it?
You say you lost your faith but that’s not where it’s at
You have no faith to lose and you know it
I know the reason that you talk behind my back
I used to be among the crowd you’re with
Do you take me for such a fool to think I’d make contact
With the one who tries to hide what we don’t know how to begin with?
You see me on the street, you always act surprised
You say, “How are you? Good luck” but you don’t mean it
When you know as well as me you’d rather see me paralyzed
Why don’t you just come out once and scream it?
No, I do not feel that good when I see the heartbreaks you embrace
If I was a master thief perhaps I’d rob them
And now I know you’re dissatisfied with your position and your place
Don’t you understand, It’s not my problem
I wish that for just one time you could stand inside my shoes
And for that one moment, I could be you
Yes, I wish that for just one time, you could stand inside my shoes
You’d know what a drag it is to see you
……………….may you “Rest In Peace.”
