Isn’t This True?

“If you train hard,
you’ll not only be hard,
you will be hard to beat.”
~ Herschel Walker.

Isn’t this true?

Of late, have your life become stale or redundant?

Please do not misunderstand me as most of us would have days when life seems it is the same as the day before.

Or, are you getting better and better every day, in every way?

Thinking allowed ……… I reckon, as we age, our focus and concern should be less on how our bodies age. Instead, emphasis should be on how we choose to consistently position issues in our minds.

Think creatively.

Every one of us will have a different perception on staying competitive.Β It is all about seeking out challenges and moving beyond our comfort zone. The good news is, weΒ are blessed with the capacity to remain competitive only if we choose to stay competitive.Β

“The person who gets the farthest
is generally the one who is

willing to do and dare.
~ Dale Carnegie

Knowledge is an enormous source of power ………….. not to mention, competitive advantage. But, on another note and a word of caution though, being too hard on yourself can also make you hard to be around ………. Isn’t this true?

Enjoy your moment and God Bless.

If something was true it would be true for everyone, like I say on my blog – http://ingahel.com/ – the truth can only be one and the same for everyone. So if this is true for us all then it is true.

    hey Michael,
Just posted these two quotes and they seem to fit.

Life doesn’t require that we be the best, only that we try our best
    H. Jackson Brown Jr.

Our main business is not to see what lies dimly at a distance, but to do what clearly lies at hand.

Thomas Carlyle (1795-1881) British historian and essayist.

Life and happiness are a journey not a destination. Desire to try your best and then rest.

Ah! Yes! I am the best friend of myself, so I ‘d like to treat the good old buddy of mine, sometimes strict, sometimes tolerant. Have a nice weekend!

  7. I’ve been reading this week in John Maxwell’s “Thinking For A Change”. It’s reminding me that being our best requires constant advancement. Sometimes I think I’m still accepting that in my mind!
